PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEEThe duties of the PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE include:
- Promote awareness of the organization - Make calendars/schedules available - Assist in the organization and the management of the chapter website - Write/Gather and edit the blogs **NOTE: COMMITTEES have MULTIPLE members. Titles to positions will be given as needed and as earned** |
PROGRAM COMMITTEEThe duties of the PROGRAM COMMITTEE include:
- Help locate speakers and create workshops - Help design service projects and locate community service opportunities - Come up with fundraising activities and ideas - Come up with social activities and ideas - Help create the calendars/schedules **NOTE: COMMITTEES have MULTIPLE members. Titles to positions will be given as needed and as earned** |
AWARDS & RESEARCH COMMITTEEThe duties of the AWARDS & RESEARCH COMMITTEE include:
- Organize and plan for awards to be presented to outstanding student members and faculty - Develop a scholarship fund - Ensure members are aware of national Psi Chi research awards and grants and encourage them to apply - Nominate faculty, chapter, and chapter president for national or regional awards - Encourage chapter to fulfill all requirements for Model Chapter Award -Encourage members to participate in research - Advocate professor's labs - Keep members up-to-date on research in the field **NOTE: COMMITTEES have MULTIPLE members.
